    The large-caliber cold bending pipe is a common pipe fitting in the construction of long-distance pipeline. It is made on site by vertical hydraulic pipe bender according to the actual direction of pipeline and the required bending Angle.  Into the 21st century, the long distance pipeline engineering construction in China has developed rapidly, and China's complex and varied landscape, pipeline along the mountain hills, plains, more the demand of cold bending tube is quite big, but as a result of many who took part in the construction unit lacked the experience in the production of cold bend, on how to create a high quality of cold bend, is still at groping stage.  As a manufacturer of cold pipe bending machine, we have studied and tested how to ensure the quality of cold pipe bending in the process of development, test and application, analyzed the common defects of cold pipe bending and put forward control measures for reference.

    According to the cause of wrinkles, we control from two aspects: on the one hand, in the bending process, the inner tube should not be placed on the side near the front fixture, but should be placed on the side near the bending cylinder of the lower die, and the rear of the inner tube is about 150mm beyond the rear of the upper tube.  At the same time, the lift of the bending cylinder should not be too large during the first three times of bending. In the subsequent process, the lift of the bending cylinder should gradually increase until the steel pipe touches the high point of the upper tire arc, which can make the steel pipe transition smoothly in the bending process and ensure that the steel pipe does not have unstable deformation.  On the other hand, adjust the inner tube before bending the steel pipe. When bending a tube, the inner tube must be in a self-locking position and the inner wall of the steel pipe can be bent.  By taking the above measures, it can ensure that the steel pipe does not appear wrinkles.  

     

    In bending, we found that the axial position of the inner tube was not easy to control, so we designed and made a positioning car, and used a pole to connect the inner tube with the car rigidly.  When the center line of the inner tube and the upper die overlap, write down the relative position of the car, a bending operation to steel tube to the rear axle to move the machine, together with the inner tube and the car move back length a homework, and then loosen the inner tube bulging tight structure, launch tube motor, make the inner tube, together with the car to move forward, until the car back to the original position calibration.  In order to control the verticality of the inner tube, we used the indicating pointer, fixed it on the connecting pole, and marked the position mark at the tube mouth. When the indicating pointer was deflecting, the inner tube was pulled out in time and manually corrected.
