First of all, you have to know the hydraulic cylinder you want to dismantle, although before dismantling to first mapping.  Prepare for later assembly.  In particular, the location of the oil port and the placement size.  

Next you can remove the cylinder bottom, cylinder head, guide sleeve.  Remove the piston rod from the cylinder to guard against piston rod impact injury.  Then come down and remove the piston.  Pistons are usually threaded to each other, but there are check screws, which must be removed first.  Finally remove the sealing ring.
